1. Information You Provide Us
   
   We collect information that you provide us. This includes:


1. Account and Profile Information.
   When you create an account on our platform, we collect information you provide us: your name, email address, interests, gender, age and profile information. If you are a professional, you may also provide us information related to your business.


2. Content You Submit.
   We collect information and content that you submit, post to, or create in our platform, including your photos, comments, reviews, searches, photo notes, ideabooks, discussions, project details and costs, style preferences, and as a professional, other types of content provided for in our Houzflo business management tools.


3. Actions you take.
   We collect information about the actions you take when using our services. This includes your interactions with content, like voting, saving, hiding, and reporting. It also includes your interactions with other users. We collect your interactions with communities, like your subscriptions or moderator status.


4. Communications.
   When you communicate with us and when you use our platform to communicate with others, we may record, monitor, or otherwise collect details about your communications (including call time, and call duration).


5. Transactional information.
   If you purchase products or services from us, we will collect certain information from you, including your name, address, email address, and information about the product or service you are purchasing. Houzflo uses industry-standard payment processor services to handle payment information.


6. Other information.
   You may choose to provide other information directly to us. We may collect information when you fill out a form, participate in Houzflo-sponsored activities or promotions or otherwise communicate with us.


2. Information from Others.
   
   We collect information that others make available to us, including information from other users, platforms, publicly available information, information from our partners, service providers and information from third-party sites.

   We may receive information about you from third-party platforms when you allow the third-party platform to share this information with us or allow Houzflo to obtain this information from the third party.


2. Publicly Available Information.
   If you are a professional or seller, we may collect information about you from publicly available sources and where permitted by applicable law or with your permission, make it available as part of our platform.


3. Other Users and Customers.
   Others may post content on our platform that includes information about you or provide us your information in connection with using our platform. In order to enhance the quality of our platform, professionals and sellers on our platform may provide us information about your engagement with them. If you are a professional or seller, platform users and visitors may provide us with feedback and public reviews about you.


4. Our Partners and Service Providers.
   We may receive information about you from our partners and service providers ( e.g. our payment processors, banking partners, advertising partners etc.).


5. Third-Party Sites.
   Certain third-party sites embed a Houzflo plug-in, widget, or content, including through Houzflo-branded buttons, badges, and slideshows and Houzflo co-branded content partnerships. Our plug-ins, widgets, embedded content, and pixels may collect information pursuant to our Cookie Policy. You may also choose to use our browser extensions, which collect the information described in this Privacy Policy like the rest of our platform.


3. Automatically Collected Information.
   
   Each time you access the platform, information is sent to our server by your Internet browser or app and stored in our log files. We collect information about your use of our platform, including your search activity, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and if you use our browser extensions, the content you interact with on third-party sites, and how you navigate and interact with a page or screen. We also collect information that your device provides to us in connection with your use of our platform, such as your browser type, type of device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, and requested and referring URLs.

Much of the information on the platform is public and accessible to everyone, even without an account. By using our services, you are directing us to share this information publicly and freely. When you submit content to a public part of our platform, any visitors to and users of our services will be able to see that content, the username associated with the content and the date and time you originally submitted the content.

Houzflo allows other sites to embed public Houzflo content via our embed tools. Houzflo also allows third parties to access public Houzflo content via the Houzflo API and other similar technologies. Although some parts of the services may be private or quarantined, they may become public (e.g., at the moderator’s option in the case of private communities) and you should take that into consideration before posting to the services.

Your Houzflo account has a profile page that is public. Your profile contains information about your activities on the platform, such as your username, prior posts and comments, awards received, moderator status, and how long you have been a member of the services. You can also choose for your profile to include the content you upvote and downvote.

We offer social sharing features that let you share content or actions you take on our platform with other media. Your use of these features enables the sharing of certain information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the third party that provides the social sharing feature. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing in connection with social sharing features, please visit the privacy policies of the third parties that provide these social sharing features (e.g. Facebook).

Houzflo only shares nonpublic information about you in the following ways. We do not sell this information.

• With your consent.
  We may share information about you with your consent or at your direction.
• Platform Visitors and Users.
  Through Houzflo, others have the ability to find, contact, view, and follow your profile and public activity on Houzflo and link it to your username.
• With our service providers.
  We may share information with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work for us. Their use of personal data will be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security measures. A few examples: (i) payment processors who process transactions on our behalf, (ii) cloud providers who host our data and our services, (iii) third-party ads measurement providers who help us and advertisers measure the performance of ads shown on our services.
• To comply with the law.
  We may share information in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, including, but not limited to, meeting national security or law enforcement requirements.
